246: In Sickness and in Health, In Chaos and Control

We take turns being chaos and control.

Someone’s gotta keep the fire burning

and someone’s gotta sing that

Celine Dion ballad at top volume.

(I volunteer as tribute).

We can’t all be in retrograde alllll the time,

so we take turns.

We tag in and tag out.

No need for words,

just tell me where you are

with the sag in your shoulders

or the giggle in your throat

and I’ll be your opposite.

I’ll be the steady to your wild.

I’ll hold the candle,

you light the match.

And when you’re done romping around,

and are ready to drive,

I’ll throw you the keys

And we’ll find ourselves adventure.

In sickness and in health, in chaos and control.

Isn’t love a lovely thing?
